What would you do if your spouse died unexpectedly, leaving you alone to care for your 9 children?
Hello, my name is Milana Leshinsky.
Every year I look for an organization or a cause to support. This year the cause sort of fell into my lap.
Early October I attended a seminar, where I met a man named Rich Vosler, whose circumstances shocked and inspired me.
Rich had traveled all this way, and along with him his nine children.
They all lost their mother and wife two years ago, and have been trying to cope with their tremendous loss. Rich's youngest child is 3 and his oldest is 16, who actually took care of all the children while her father was in the seminar.
I remember peeking out the window seeing the entire "gang" of his kids, wondering how this is humanly possibly for a 16-year old girl to be responsible for taking care of her eight younger siblings...
Their story touched me to the bottom of my heart, and I wanted to help. I have a 7 and a 13 year old myself, and I get scared when I think about not being with them, and how life would be different without a mom.
Often times you don't get to support real people. Sending your donation to some foreign country is great, but you never get to see or know the people you help.
Helping the Vosler family is real -- 100% of each donation will go to them directly, and help them afford the things they can't afford right now.
I've never done anything like this, but I was moved to help and hopefully this family's story will make you feel the same way. You can read the story of the kids and their mom by clicking on the links below:

When you're finished, please come back here and make your donation. Rich and his nine children will be incredibly grateful for your help this year, and I will send you a personal thank-you for your support.
