In My Previous Life...

A lifetime ago - before ACCPOW, before coaching, before business - my only goal in life was to become a music teacher.

Every day I would get up at 8am, get on the city tramcar, go to music college and study there until 10pm. I did it six days a week for 4 years(majoring in history and theory), just for a chance to hold amusic teacher's position.

It was hard work, and I moaned and groaned...

But life happens, and in 1992 after moving to the U.S., I had to shift gears. I became a web designer, then a business coach, and later founded ACCPOW.

Some might say, "What a waste of time, Milana! Four years of hard labor and you're not even teaching music!"

At first, I thought so myself.

But then I slowly started realizing that nothing was wasted!

Everything I needed to know to be successful, I learned rightthere, in those four years: hard work, self-study, persistence, creativity, collaboration and people skills.

Everything happens for a reason, and those four labor-filled years are finally paying off.
