How to Get Your Book Into Barnes & Noble - Funny!

I was reading Fred Gleek's Publishing for Maximum Profit yesterday at breakfast, and almost choked!

Want to get your book into major book stores?

Do what Fred Gleek calls "reverse shoplifting" - take 3 of your books into Barnes & Noble, go to your section, and put them on the shelf.

Someone will pick it up, want to buy it, take it to the register, the cashiers will try to find it in their system...and of course, won't find it.

They'll call the manager, who won't be able to find it in the system either.

Of course, as a good customer service provider, they'll let the customer buy it anyway (WHAT?!!!)

They'll also call distribution house to stock their shelves with your books.

The distribution house will, of course, call ... YOU!

Try at your own risk LOL.

Are You a Struggling Therapist?

Every time I talk to therapists, all I hear is how unhappy they are, how much they dread working with clients, how stressful and daunting their work is, and how they wish to do something else!

So for any therapists out there, looking for answers, I think this is a must-read resource for you.

"You wake up in the morning feeling energized about the prospect of seeing the clients you have scheduled that day. You love your job. You have wonderful colleagues who you collaborate with and learn from. You make a significant difference in your clients’ lives. You have a great salary and can comfortably afford to travel, buy beautiful artwork or home decorations, and eat delicious meals at fine restaurants if you feel like it. You do not worry about paying your bills since your income more than covers them. You frequently think about how happy you are with your career, and your mood during the workday is generally bright and cheerful…"

This is what Larina Kase, my friend, business partner, and the author of "The Successful Therapist" has experienced in her own practice. Check her new book out at:
