A Retreat with a Life Coach? I Am In!

Another great business-building idea for a coach.

Author and Life Coach, Ana Tampanna has developed a Cruise Retreat for Women that sets sail to the Bahamas for 4 nights November 7-11, 2005 aboard Royal Caribbean Sovereign of the Seas.

Unlike hotel retreats, participants will experience the world rather than feel shut off from the world. Professional speakers and facilitators will provide opportunities for the women to expand their perspectives regarding their professional and personal lives, explore life wisdom, and make healthy choices while rejuvenating at sea and in paradise island settings.

Will PsychicLifeCoach.com Hurt the Coaching Industry's reputation?

I was surprised and a little dissappointed to find this web site. My guess is that the psychics of this organization didn't do this intentionally. Nevertheless, associating life coaches with psychics is confusing to the public and can probably hurt us in the long run.

Client's Success Brought Tears to My Eyes

After having a great mother's day picnic at a beautiful park by the lake, I came home, went out for a jog, took a shower, and went to check my e-mail.

While I was waiting for it to download, I decided to check on how one of my clients' web site sales were doing.

I ran a sales report in her shopping cart, and was happy to see that it keeps growing!

45 sales - in January
71 sales - in February
54 sales - in March
61 sales - in April

65% of these are digital products (e-books), so she hasn't lifted a finger to fulfill the orders, which were delivered automatically.

(We started out with 25 a month at most, so this is absolutely awesome! I couldn't believe how far we've gotten since we started working together!)

What have we done to improve the sales?

1. Re-wrote the sales copy to make it more exciting, with bonuses, testimonials, and guarantee. Removed everything from the home page BUT the sales copy (plus links to other pages in a subtle way, but nothing else).

2. Hired a search engine optimization company for $300 - a one-time payment to optimize the web site. We thought this flopped at first, after not seeing any results for a month, but then traffic from search engines picked up and very targeted, too!

3. Created various packages and combos of products, so customers could pick and choose. This mix worked great!

4. Developed a 9-week free course, delivered via an autoresponder, which grew her list from ZERO to 5,000 in 6 months!

Also, by emphasizing a back-end service, she is able to generate additional income (between $500-$2,000 a month).

Wow! This feels great! A perfect way to end my mother's day :)

P.S. Can't share the client's name due to confidentiality! But will be happy to work with you and help you achieve the same results using similar strategies! :) E-mail me! (excited@milana.com)
