Having a lot more fun with this format, and actually looking forward to writing each issue!

How can YOU think of a way to enjoy writing your newsletter?

"Uncluttering" My Brain with an Editorial Calendar for 2005

You probably know the feeling.

You've got a dozen projects going on at the same time, a dozen of letters and articles to write, a dozen of web sites to feature, a dozen of products to create, a dozen of interviews to conduct, a dozen events to attend...

No?

Then welcome to the crazy life of an Internet entrepreneur! Pull up a chair...

The biggest "clutter" happens in my brain when I have both, short-term and long-term projects on my plate, and the timelines are overlapping!

So, as my best friend suggested, I am creating *visual* timelines for myself.

Tonight, I began with an excellent organizing tool - my own editorial calendar for the weekly newsletter. Here is how it looks blank:

Click on this link to see it in actual size, as an HTML page (I am most comfortable in a web editor, so instead of using Word, I just designed it as a web page).

Now, any time I have an idea for an article or a must-announce event, I'll record it in my calendar and refer to it each week.

Because "uncluttered" brain = peace of mind, higher productivity, and good night sleep.

Life Coaches Attend Events...But Why Not Create Buzz With an Event of Your Own?

Reading this story in a UK newspaper online made me think of something this morning:

"SINGLE people in Bracknell can get an image makeover, life-coaching and even have their fortune told at an exhibition designed to help them meet a new partner.

Exhibition organiser Gill Barrow of South Ascot, who has been running events for single people for more than 20 years, said she believes the Singles Fayre at the Hilton Hotel on Bagshot Road on Sunday, is the first exhibition for single people ever held in the UK."

(Read more at Special event for singles)

Instead of simply being a part of an event, why not organize your own?

Imagine being THE PERSON who creates and organizes annual Life Makeover Expo? Or a Career Makeover PowWow? Or a Parenting With Joy Fair?

One day a year, but a TON of publicity all year long!
