No Idea What You Want to Be When You Grow Up?

A conversation came up in my local "mastermind" group meeting this morning, which lead me to thinking of a simple way to find a business idea.

Let's say you have no idea what business you want to start.

You don't even know what you'd like to be doing.

Create a 3-column grid, like so:

-------------------------------------------
My Skills My Passions Market Demand
-------------------------------------------

List all your skills (what you can do) and all your passions (things you can be doing for hours without noticing the time go by, then pick up a few magazines that catch your attention and browse.

Look for patterns and possibilities of where you can apply your skills and passions.

I am the proud owner of the Desk "Apprentice!"

After watching the show tonight, I just HAD to go online and buy the product of the winning team! (Did I meantion I am an office supplies junkie???)

Here it is, below, and this is where you can order it too!
