3-step Plan for New and Overwhelmed Coach
A new coach asked for help, and I thought I'd share my response to her here.
"I am sorry you feel overwhelmed, I get this way once in a while myself, too.
What helps me is that I have a goal in mind, a vision. And even when I feel overwhelmed or frusrated, I keep my mind on that vision. Makes it a whole lot easier.
So ask yourself, what is my goal? What do I want to accomplish by December 31, 2006?
Perhaps it could be:
1. Get a simple 4-page web site done (about you, your services, testimonials, sign-up page).
2. Create a free offer (a free report for your target audience) to give away through a sign-up form.
3. Write an article every week, send it out to your mailing list (no matter how small), and submit it to online article submission lists. Also, add each article to your web site.
With these 3 steps, your list will grow really fast and your business will take off.
One more note... Step #0 should be identifying your target audience. Without this step, you'll be struggling with article topics, freebie report topic, and getting prospects to your web site.
Good luck!"

Are you aware of any productive coaches who are working w/ physicians as a niche? If so, are they working with docs from a particular type of specialization (i.e. dermitologist, plastic surgeons, etc.)
