Self-Employed To Employed
"Many people dream of being self-employed. The freedom to set their own schedule and become their own boss are a few pluses.
But many who venture out on their own realize that they are more suited to the structured 9-to-5 work environment. That’s not a bad thing, but convincing employers that you are willing to come back to be part of a team can be challenging."

Self-Employed To Employed

Milana, thanks for sharing this article and for posting your thoughts on this topic. I have been in quite a tailspin because 2 dear friends of mine - previously solo business owners have decided to return to the workforce. Both indicated that the main reason for doing so was money. They just couldn't deal with the highs and lows of not having a "steady paycheck". It has been very discouraging for me and now I feel so disconnected from conversation when we speak. It's like when my neighbors talk about their kids potty training or play dates - my kids are teenagers now! What in the heck do I want to remember poopie diapers and time out for? I'm past that time in my life. What do you say to friends who return to the grind and your practice is thriving?
