The Results Are In - I Like to Be the Center of Attention!

An assessment, which took me about 1.5 hours to complete, resulted in some surprising revelations.

I know it's only a tool, but it makes me think...

Ah-ha! So that's why....blah-blah...

And that's why I... blah-blah....

I promised not to hold anything back, so I'll share some of the results, for those who are curious.

  • Social Drive (92%) - hmm...love people, but doing just fine in my home office...
  • Goal Orientation (92%) - always! like an energizer bunny!
  • Need for Control (65%) - Duh! That's why happily self-employed...
  • Detail Orientation (26%) - so that's why I hated ALL my jobs, including programming!!!
  • Ability to Copy with Stress (15%) - god help me! the tele-summit is coming!
  • Ego Drive to Achieve Immediate Results (63%)
  • Job Loyalty for Single Employer (32%) - Duh!
  • Vision to Predict Future Needs (65%) - Great to know!
  • Assertiveness (15%) - Never would've thought!
  • Self-Critisism (70%) - figures! what's a perfectionist to do?!

But center of attention, according to the analysis of the assessment? Who me? Since when?

'Nuf said. That's yours truly!

Milana,
I really enjoyed reading your assessment. I can totally relate. What assessment test did you take?

Hi, Cath.

I took the Craftsman Manager's Profile assessment, and got a full report back from the facilitator.

It was fun, now I wish I knew what to do with all this information LOL!

I'm going to check it out. It is true - what do you do when you know these things? I'm going to check into it. For myself, I find that when I do tests like this, it helps me understand why I do things the way I do. Also, it helps me to know when to say "no" when something just doesn't seem right for me. Anyhow, thanks for sharing all that stuff - I loved reading it.
