What I spend money on

I am not the usual stereotyped female shopper...

I am not into clothes...

....or jewelry

....or "stuff"

I spend money primarily on 3 things:

- kids stuff (toys, games, books)
- business-related books (including on tape)
- MOVIES!

The last one is big, I watch at least one movie a day, even when I am totally swamped with everything else.

I'll also NOT think twice about getting the movie I absolutely must have!

Movies are my "soul food". Movies are my "stress release". Movies are my "dose of humor".

I remember when I was 14, vacationing with my parents and little brother on the Black Sea in Ukraine, the landlady we rented a room from allowed me to watch her TV (that was in the 80's).

That year, I watched a movie that I could never forget! Ever since then, I'd been trying to locate it, and finally...16 years later...I remembered its title!

It's a 2-part story about 4 Polish girls, who are friends in the Wolrd War II, and how their lives are affected by the war. History drama and a "chick flick", but what a story!

- "Apple Tree of Paradise"
- "Girls from Nowolipki"

I ordered it tonight from Polandbymail.com, but only one part has English subtitles.

I'll "guess" the rest in Polish!
