"God Help" European Life Coaches
Another "great" article from Scottman, a Scottish newspaper.

Makes me wonder if connecting newspaper publishers with local coaching organizations in Europe would help shift this unfavorable thinking...
Here is the excerpt from the article:
"Soon we will be paying people just to be our friends. Oh, I forgot. We do pay people to be our friends. They’re called life coaches.
My sister has one. She’s called Kate and before she became a life coach she and my sister used to chat for hours. Since Kate became a life coach they still chat for hours but the only difference is that a few days after the chat my sister now receives a hefty invoice through the post.
No kidding! Why not stop phoning Kate? Why not phone a friend who isn’t a life coach and have the same conversation for free?
That’s what I used to think, anyway, back when I was an unreconstructed, anti-entrepreneurial killjoy.
Now I have seen the light. If someone wants to escape their boring job and re-package themselves as a service provider then why shouldn’t they? They deserve our support, especially if they are friends.
And, yes, our cash too. They’re the ones who have gone out on a limb; the least we can do is offer them an arm and a leg."
How about inviting local reporters to participate in a coaching group, or ask them to do the before-and-after interviews with the actual participants...
